Josh McCarter

Chief Executive Officer

Josh co-founded Booker in 2010 and has served as the company’s CEO since its inception. Josh is focused on expanding Booker’s reach through partnerships and client relationships while creating a culture of innovation and excellence in Booker’s offices around the world. Prior to Booker, Josh was President and COO of Arbitech, a leading independent distributor of computer hardware that achieved $1B of sales under his leadership. Arbitech was recognized as Entrepreneur magazine’s fastest growing company in the US (2003), in addition to being rated in the Orange County Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work in the OC.” Josh previously served as COO of SpaFinder, managing the company’s technology, operations, and strategic initiatives. Before joining SpaFinder, Josh served as VP of International Development and VP of Business Development for the online automotive marketing leader, Autobytel.com. At Autobytel, Josh led the company’s international expansion efforts, oversaw acquisitions, developed strategic partnerships, and assisted in the company’s IPO. Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science-International Relations as a Cum Laude Graduate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his Master of Business Administration at the University of Southern California (USC). Josh currently serves on the board of SpaFinder, and previously held board positions with several Autobytel subsidiaries, Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Bill Smith

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

As COO / CFO, Bill is primarily responsible for the financial and operational management of Booker. Bill is a seasoned financial executive with more than 20 years of broad financial experience including global finance, capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and investor relations. Bill brings a wealth of experience, having held senior financial positions at Novell, KAYAK, and most recently, Antenna Software. He joins Booker from Antenna Software, which helps enterprises build, manage, and publish mobile applications. As Chief Financial Officer, Bill was responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company. Prior to that, Bill was CFO of KAYAK Software Corporation (Kayak.com), the well-known travel services provider. For the 13 years prior to this role, Bill was with Novell, Inc., a leading enterprise software provider, where he was VP of Global Finance and oversaw business, operations and international finance, and served as a member of Novell’s Executive Committee. In prior positions with Novell, he was responsible for corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. Prior to Novell, Bill was an investment banker, beginning his career with Merrill Lynch & Co. and going on to hold positions at Morgan Stanley, The Bridgeford Group and Cowen & Co. Bill has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Russell Cherry

Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, Russell Cherry is responsible for delivery of the product vision, execution on enterprise commitments, and technical operations of the Booker Platform. Russ joins us from GSI Commerce (now eBay Enterprise), where he spent the last ten years—initially leading the Development organization, and more recently taking on roles as SVP and CTO. Prior to GSI Commerce, Russ was CIO at CDNow, an early on-line music retailer. This led to a position as VP Technology at BeMusic, a Bertelsmann company made up of CDNow, BMG Direct, and several other music related on-line properties. Russ also spent three years consulting at on-line service companies such as Prodigy and Infonautics. Russ started his career as a software developer at General Electric, where he progressively took on technology leadership positions over eight years. Russ attended Villanova University, where he earned his Masters in Computer Science. Russ earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Bucknell University.

Aaron Stead

Chief Revenue Officer

As CRO, Aaron oversees Booker's go-to-market strategy; managing the company's sales and marketing teams to collectively accelerate revenue growth and drive market share. He joins Booker after nearly a decade at InfusionSoft, most recently as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, where he ushered the company to more than 10x growth in both revenue (from $10M to $110M) and size (from 50 employees to more than 650). He brings extensive experience in every aspect of business operations including sales, marketing, strategic business development, partner programs, and customer loyalty and retention.Prior to joining Infusionsoft, Aaron grew several North American revenue channels for UK-based Sage, a global software firm. He has an M.B.A. from the Ken Blanchard College of Business at Grand Canyon University and a B.A. in Business Administration and Communication from Arizona State University.

Dan Chandre

SVP & General Manager, Integrated Payments

As the SVP and General Manager of Integrated Payments, Dan manages Booker's internal strategy and execution around integrated payments for merchants. Additionally, Dan manages the business relationships with Booker's external vendors and industry-leading payment partners. Prior to managing Booker’s integrated payments, Dan has held a series of leadership roles within Booker, including heading up the Strategic Partnerships division that was dedicated aligning Booker with innovative and exciting companies that are well-positioned to take advantage of Booker’s powerful software platforms. Dan worked for Hyatt Hotels Corporation organizing sales and marketing efforts for new and existing hotels across the globe. From Hyatt, he moved to SpaFinder and worked on numerous product development and marketing initiatives, one of which spawned the SpaBooker product. With SpaBooker, Dan led some of the largest development initiatives, including deals with Hilton Hotels, Six Senses, and the YMCA. Dan is a graduate of University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Science.

Matthew Mahoney

SVP, Product

Matt is responsible for corporate strategy and product leadership at Booker, with a specific focus on product management, product marketing and user experience design. Previously he ran Business Development at Booker where he led the company's channel, publisher and platform partnerships, as well as M&A outreach. Matt joins us with 20 years of driving growth in early-stage consumer web and SAAS companies. Most recently, to democratize job search, Matt founded Daily Endeavor, a wikipedia for jobs, and Endeavor Prep, a career search prep course firm for young professionals. Previously, Matt served on the executive team at Palo Alto-based Socialtext, the first enterprise social software company, where he deployed collaboration tools for firms such as Dell, Intel, SAP, Daimler Chrysler and IDEO. Prior to Socialtext, Matt served as COO at Creative Good, the New York-based product development and customer experience design firm. Matt began his career in product development and business development at Autobytel.com. Matt is an advisor to early stage entrepreneurs, a frequent industry speaker, including talks at TEDx, SXSW, and Fast Company, and is active in the movement to reinvent education. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from UCLA and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was an Arthur Rock Entrepreneurial Fellow. He and his family live in New York City.

Rosemary Biagioni

VP, Controller

As VP, Controller, Rosemary oversees our financial, accounting, and analytics operations. Rosemary is responsible for all aspects of the finance function, including corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax accounting, investor relations, and internal audit and risk management. With over 20 years of experience in financial management, accounting, capital financing, and policy development, Rosemary brings broad expertise in establishing procedures and internal controls for startup and established companies. She’s served on the executive teams of notable technology and media corporations, in roles including Director of Finance at Mindset Media, VP of Finance at SilverCarrot, and CFO at Independent Media Services. Rosemary began her career as Auditor for WeiserMazars, a public accounting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Adelphi University.

Eileen Dukes

VP, Sales Operations

As Vice President of Sales Operations, Eileen oversees functions essential to driving sales force productivity. She is responsible for enabling, planning, reporting, and managing sales processes and cohesion cross-department coordination to maximize sales and marketing efficiency. Joining Booker in 2008, Eileen has held management roles in Sales, Marketing Services & Business Development. She brings to her role over 20 years of senior leadership experience in the startup environment. Her previous roles include Vice President of Marketing for the online automotive marketing leader, Autobytel.com, where she led the company’s e-commerce partnerships, integrated online relationships, OEM website advertising and strategic partnerships. In spearheading lead acquisition efforts, she generated 85% of traffic to ABTL, with over 4 million leads annually, to reach annual revenues goals over $70 Million, which helped bring Autobytel.com to profitability in 2002. Prior to Autobytel.com, Eileen was a Financial Analyst at ITT Cannon, working on Operating/Strategy Plans for fourteen European Units reporting to ITT Cannon Headquarters Worldwide.

Brian Raboin

VP, Customer Experience

As the Vice President of Customer Experience, Brian oversees Customer Support, Customer Success, and Customer Training for Booker Software Customers. Brian is ultimately responsible for the overall customer experience. He joins Booker from ClearDATA, a managed cloud service provider focused on Health Care, where he was their Senior Vice President of Operations. At ClearDATA, Brian implement an ITIL based Service Delivery and Service Operations framework that met HIPAA, HITRUST and SOC2 standards. Brian has been working in the world of technology and customer experience since 2001 where he was the 5th employee at HostMySite.com. Brian was with HostMySite.com through its acquisition in 2008 when he was the Vice President of Operations. He continued with HostMySite.com and was part of the acquisition teams when they acquired Hosting.com in 2009 and NeoSpire in 2011. During his tenure with Hosting, Brian held multiple responsibilities and titles including Vice President of Product, Chief Customer Office and Chief Strategy Officer. Brian became a thought leader in the world of Customer Experience and was the keynote speaker at IQPC's Call Center week in 2013, the Customer Keynote at Oracle's Service Cloud Sales Kickoff FY2014 and an invited speaker at OracleWorld 2014. Brian has a bachelor’s degree in History and various other technical and business program certification from the University of Delaware. Additionally, he is a certified Scrum Master, certified Net Promoter Associate, Pragmatic Marketing Product Management Certified and ITIL Foundation Certified.

Christine Rogers

VP, Sales

Christine Rogers is the Vice President of Sales, responsible for ensuring the growth of the business through direct and partnership sales. She is a seasoned Sales executive with over 15 years recruiting, training, and managing successful Sales teams serving SMBs. Her extensive Sales background is complemented by her own experience owning a small business, giving her a unique perspective into what busy entrepreneurs need to run and grow their businesses. She has been recognized for her passion for and results in developing her team and multiplying their talents for success. Most recently at Infusionsoft from 2011-2016, she designed and built the company’s sales enablement organization while managing the direct sales team as the company grew from $26M to $100M. Prior to Infusionsoft, Christine hired and trained independent insurance agents for Farmers Insurance and she herself sold insurance for 9 years. She has served for 16 years as a board member of Boxer Luv Rescue, a non-profit animal welfare organization. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree and is a Proud Sundevil.

Tony Spencer

VP, Strategic Partnerships

As VP, Strategic Partnerships, Tony leads an experienced and accomplished team that is focused on implementation, training, and account management functions for Booker’s largest and most complex clients. He is also responsible for the teams that provide outstanding services to Booker’s international clients. With over 25 years of experience in operations management, technology operations, and customer service, Tony focuses on helping clients capitalize on the business benefits of the Booker Platform. He joins us from Point B, a management consulting firm, where he focused on defining and delivering strategic operational and technical initiatives for clients in a variety of industries. Prior to Point B, Tony worked for The Lyle Anderson Company where he served in a number of different roles, including EVP of Lyle Anderson Homes. He received his introduction to technology at Andersen Business Consulting, where he led initiatives ranging from security audits to large-scale software implementations to business transformation projects for Fortune 50 clients. Tony is a graduate of Cornell College, where he received degrees in both Economics & Business and Psychology. He also received a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Accountancy from Arizona State University.

Adam Smith

Board Member

Adam T. Smith, a Partner at Medina Capital, has more than 17 years of experience as a legal executive with expertise in managing global legal affairs, corporate securities, technology contracting, and mergers and acquisitions. Adam is responsible for sourcing potential investment opportunities and providing Medina Capital’s portfolio companies with strategic advice with business development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, intellectual property protection, contracting, and all legal issues.

Prior to joining Media Capital, Adam served as the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Verizon Terremark. While at Terremark, Adam was responsible for the global legal affairs including securities regulation, mergers & acquisitions, financings, vendor and customer contracting, intellectual property as well as providing advice to senior management on a wide range of legal issues relating to Terremark’s products and services.

Prior to joining Terremark, Adam led the Electronic Commerce & Technology law practice for a Miami based international law firm with a focus on domestic and international corporate transactions, venture capital, and corporate securities for technology clients.

Adam began his career in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for the review of the legal issues surrounding the Internet aspects of the proposed Sprint/WorldCom merger. He also gained federal government experience in internships with the Department of State (U.S. Embassy/Santiago, Chile), the U.S. House of Representatives International Relations Committee, as well as honors legal internships with the Office of the Senior Deputy Counsel for International Affairs & Intelligence at the Department of Defense, and in the Office of the Deputy Attorney General in the Executive Office of National Security at the Department of Justice. He was also an official Observer for the Electoral Observation Mission to Panama for the 1999 local, provincial, and presidential elections in Panama, and the 1998 Presidential election in Venezuela.


Adam received his Bachelor’s of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from Tufts University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. Adam is a member of the bar of the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Peter Ellis

Board Member

Pete Ellis has been a leading business innovator with every enterprise he has owned and operated since the mid-1970s. As one of the largest automobile dealers in the western United States, Pete pioneered one-price selling, bringing consumer-oriented policies to the sale of new and used automobiles. In 1994-95, using technology and innovative marketing strategies, Pete launched the first automobile buying and research website, Autobytel. His approach revolutionized an entire industry, for both manufacturers and consumers, and his efficient marketing and transaction platform continues to be the basis for every commercially viable automobile website in existence. After taking Autobytel public in 1999 (NASDAQ: ABTL), he formed Jubilee Investments.

Pete has been honored by Advertising Age as one of the top marketers in the U.S., and his Internet technology innovations are part of the Permanent Research Collection at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.

Peter McCormick

Board Member

Peter co-founded ExactTarget—now the ExactTarget Marketing Cloud—in December 2000, and today focuses on growth projects across the business as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. With a combination of sales, marketing, and technology development experience, Peter uses his broad skill set to guide his team in entering new markets, expanding to new product areas, and leading strategic partnerships.

Peter has held numerous executive positions at the company, with responsibility for international operations, partner development, services, product development, and marketing. He has also had a key role in opening many of ExactTarget's global offices around the world.

An entrepreneur at heart, Peter is passionate about start-up businesses and is always looking toward the next frontier in technology. Anyone who’s met Peter will tell you that he has an infectious sense of humor and enthusiasm.

Prior to co-founding ExactTarget, Peter held sales and channel development leadership positions at Divine, Inc., Target, Inc., and Steelcase, Inc. Peter earned a degree in finance from the University of Minnesota. He also holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Jim Pastoriza

Board Member

Jim joined TDF early in 2004 and is the Managing Partner at the Fund. Jim was a Partner of J.P. Morgan Communications Partners, L.P. in San Francisco, CA. He was previously a Partner at AT&T Ventures, leading Fund investments in Internet Security Systems (ISSX), WNP Communications (sold to Nextlink). Prior to AT&T Ventures, Jim held operational positions at AT&T and Lucent Technologies. He was the Product Manager for AT&T’s Consumer Long Distance Service, which generated $13 billion in revenue from 60 million customers. Jim also served as the Executive Assistant to AT&T’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. Previously, he was a Lucent Technologies Account Executive ranking in the top 1% of national sales.

Jim received a Bachelor of Science from Columbia University and earned his Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Prior to Booker, Josh was President & COO of Arbitech, a leading independent distributor of computer hardware which achieved $1B of sales under his leadership. Arbitech was recognized as Entrepreneur magazine’s fastest growing company in the US (2003), received multiple placements in the Inc. 500 and 5000, and was rated in the Orange County Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work in the OC.”

Josh previously served as Chief Operating Officer of SpaFinder, managing the company’s technology, operations and strategic initiatives. Before joining SpaFinder, Josh served as Vice President of International Development and Vice President of Business Development for the online automotive marketing leader Autobytel.com. At Autobytel, Josh led the company’s international expansion efforts, oversaw acquisitions, developed strategic partnerships, and assisted in the company’s IPO.

McCarter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science-International Relations as a Cum Laude Graduate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his MBA at the University of Southern California (USC). Josh serves on the board of the Orange County chapters of Young President’s Organization (YPO) and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Tige Savage

Board Member

Tige Savage co-founded Revolution LLC with Steve Case and serves as its Managing Director, where he oversees all of Revolution’s venture capital efforts. In addition to Booker, Tige serves or has served on the boards of Revolution portfolio companies LivingSocial, Revolution Money (American Express), Flexcar (Zipcar), UberMedia, Personal, Clearspring, SparkPeople, Snagfilms, and Qloud (Buzznet). From 2001 to 2003, Tige was Vice President of Time Warner Ventures, where he led a team of investment professionals focused on equity investments in technology and next-generation media companies for AOL, HBO, Time Inc., Time Warner Cable, Turner, and Warner Bros.

Tige received his Master of Business Administration with highest distinction from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and his Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University.
