Job Positions

Title Billing Specialist

Booker is transforming the way local services are managed by businesses and discovered by consumers. Booker replaces everything from manual methods to disconnected software, and unifies the essential components of running a service business into a single web-based platform, accessible from any device. Booker also enables service business to sell their services online, through their website and a network of partner sites and apps, creating a seamless online booking experience for consumers. Booker processes over 3M appointments each month across 9000+ clients in 75 countries. Headquartered in New York City, Booker’s customers include Fortune 500 companies as well as thousands of local service businesses.

We are currently seeking an articulate, energetic and confident Billing Specialist with a can-do attitude. This is an entry level job that will provide tons of learning experience to help start your career.  To make it on the Booker team you must be technology savvy, fast, organized, able to multi-task and comfortable communicating on multiple platforms including phone, e-mail, internet and social media. 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage accounts receivable and enter billing information
  • Create and process invoices, post payments to accounts receivable
  • Establish a positive relationship with our customers by providing excellent customer service while achieving the assigned target goals for a sizeable client base
  • Contact clients to establish collections and resolve issues in a clear, concise and professional manner via phone, paper or electronic communication in a timely manner as needed
  • Research discrepancies , issue credits and adjustments, and provide information regarding accounts receivables to other staff, (Sales, Customer Experience, and Finance)


  • Experience working with QuickBooks
  • Must be very computer savvy, with advanced excel skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
  • Proven customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong candidate is a quick learner and someone who demonstrates resourcefulness and initiative
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexible to a constantly changing environment
  • Detail oriented and well organized, hands on, ability to think quickly and able to manage multiple projects
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum two year accounting degree
